Jazz – ADA Examination classes
Jazz develops flexibility, co-ordination and core strength. Jazz classes are fun, energetic and great for improving fitness.
At CSOD all jazz students are given exposure to all facets of jazz including theatrical jazz, hip hop and contemporary through the ADA syllabus. Each grade builds on technique and steps up progressively. CSOD uses music, steps and costuming appropriate to age.
All jazz students have the opportunity to study ADA syllabus, ensuring correct technique is developed from a young age . Taking exams is optional. Exams for jazz are held late August / early September when students are ready. Examiners are appointed by ADA. Grade Exams - Primary through to Grade 5, Performer Grades - Bronze through to Bar to Gold Star and teaching grades Pre-Elementary through to Advanced.
