Katrina has been involved with dance and drama all her life and has had a passion for Irish dancing since her first Irish competition at the age of six.  Katrina has competed in both Irish State and National Championships from a young sub minor until Senior Ladies in both solo and Ceili competitions and has been a top place winner at both the State and National Championships. Katrina has also trained in RAD Classical Ballet; Tap and is a qualified Jazz Teacher through ADA. Katrina was trained at the Ransley studio until their relocation to the Gold Coast where she completed her irish dancing training with the Halloran studio in Sydney.

Katrina is a qualified teacher through the Irish Dance commission in Dublin (TCRG) and was one of the original members and soloist of the Australian Irish Dance show Gaelforce.

Katrina has trained students who have gone on to win state, national and world titles in solo work as well as state and national titles in Ceili work. 

Highlights have been her four trips to the World Championships to watch her students compete in 2004, 2013, 2017 and 2018 as well as a private lesson with Irish great Michael Flatley when on assignment with News Ltd.

Katrina also has her Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, Macquarie University.
